Pride Racing is proud to present the FUSION hub, the most advanced, refined, and efficient hub system in the range to date. The FUSION is the result of years of rider feedback, real-world testing, and precision engineering. Developed to meet the increasing demands of modern BMX racing, it combines extremely fast engagement, ultra-low drag, long-term durability, and incredibly low weight.
Why the FUSION? With the evolution of frame and drivetrain standards, and with riders asking for faster engagement without compromising freewheel smoothness, the development of the FUSION focused on three key performance goals: maximizing engagement precision, reducing drivetrain drag, and maintaining low weight without sacrificing durability.

At the heart of the FUSION hub is a cleverly designed 6-pawl drive system. Each of the six pawls is offset and works in groups of three that engage simultaneously, distributing the load evenly. The pawls engage every 3° on a 60-tooth ring, delivering 180 points of engagement. This system allows for ultra-fast pickup while reducing stress on individual components and providing better control out of the gate and through corners.

One of the main design objectives of the FUSION hub was drag reduction—especially under high-cadence, low-load conditions common in BMX racing. To achieve this, the hub is equipped with high-quality, low-friction bearings, and both the spring tension and pawl interface have been optimized to maintain precise engagement without excessive rolling resistance.
Despite its durability and precision, the FUSION hub weighs just 290g ±5%.

The result is a hub that spins freely and allows you to carry your speed, something especially noticeable during warm-up laps, manuals, or high-speed sections where freewheel smoothness truly makes a difference. This makes the FUSION one of the lightest BMX race hub systems available—without resorting to exotic materials or compromising reliability.

To address one of the most common issues in BMX—caliper-to-spoke interference—the FUSION rear hub has been precisely optimized for 120mm rotors, offering better clearance between spokes and caliper, a cleaner disc brake interface, and a noticeable reduction in rotor flex and rubbing during braking.
